Skelton-in-Cleveland: Man died on A173 at Skelton Ellers

A man has died in hospital after a single-car crash on the A173, police have confirmed. 

Emergency services attended the scene of the incident at around 7pm on Friday, February 14 on the A173 at Skelton Ellers, near Skelton-in-Cleveland, following reports of a single-vehicle collision.

A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital where he later passed away.

Cleveland Police are now investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses and any relevant dashcam footage following the crash.
