A man has died in hospital after a single-car crash on the A173, police have confirmed.
Emergency services attended the scene of the incident at around 7pm on Friday, February 14 on the A173 at Skelton Ellers, near Skelton-in-Cleveland, following reports of a single-vehicle collision.
A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital where he later passed away.
Cleveland Police are now investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses and any relevant dashcam footage following the crash.

A spokesperson for the police force said: "The man’s family has been informed, and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
"Our thoughts are with them during this extremely difficult time.
"Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to call 101 quoting reference number 026733."
