A popular former North East bar and nightclub is on the market and has had its asking price slashed.
Nancy's Bordello, located on Argyle Street in the Manors area of Newcastle, is listed by estate agents Christie & Co for £425,000.
The venue, which was a successful 'neighbourhood bar' for over a decade, closed due to the pandemic.
It was particularly favoured by students and young professionals and had a strong function trade.
In September 2024 the pub was on the market for £499,000, so this represents a reduction in price.
The agents said: "With another busy pub less than 200 metres away, demonstrating demand for licensed premises in the area, Nancy's presents a superb opportunity for an experienced licensed operator to reopen the site."
The Manors area is a densely populated residential area, mainly comprising student dwellings.
The Manors Metro station is just a three-minute walk away, and Newcastle City Centre is less than half a mile away, about a nine-minute walk.
Newcastle Business School at Northumbria University is only a four-minute walk away, with the main campus just a few minutes further.
The renowned Quayside is also less than 10 10-minute walk.
Nancy's Bordello has a main bar on the ground floor, a second bar/function room with a terrace on the first floor, and a commercial catering kitchen and offices on the second floor.
A basement houses the cellar.
The majority of fixtures and fittings at the property are included in the sale, subject to an inventory.

The venue closed in March 2019 in line with Covid measures and has not reopened since.
Estate agents noted: "The immediate area is now far more densely populated than it was when the current owners used to operate the site which suggests it would likely be incredibly busy if it were to reopen."
They also mentioned that the property could be converted to student accommodation, residential use, or office accommodation, subject to the appropriate planning permissions being obtained.
