Hundreds of bank branches disappeared from the high street last year as they shut their doors for good, and a similar number set to shut in 2025.
Among the locations set for closure this year are 39 UK bank branches that are shutting down in May.
Halifax, Lloyds and Barclays are among the major banks shutting branches across the country in the coming weeks.
All of the businesses have cited the increase in the number of people banking online rather than in person as one of the reasons behind the planned branch closures.
