Two police officers assaulted in Spennymoor on New Year's Day

The police are appealing for information after two officers were assaulted on New Year's Day.

The incident took place on Festive Walk in Spennymoor town centre at 2:20am.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.

"Police would like to speak with him in relation to an incident during which two Police Officers were assaulted.

"The incident took place on Festive Walk, Spennymoor Town Centre, at around 2.20am on New Year’s Day.

"Anybody with any information relating to the incident or the man pictured below is asked to contact PC Madsen at holly.madsen@durham.police.uk quoting incident number 57 of January 1."
