The 'biggest free firework display' in the North East is set to return for the first time since 2019 to mark the New Year.
The New Year's Eve displays have been organised by NE1 in collaboration with Newcastle City Council.
Two shows will take place on December 31, the first at 6pm and the second at midnight to welcome in 2025.
The displays, choreographed by the award-winning Reaction Fireworks, will be visible from both sides of the river, with the best views between the Tyne Bridge and the Millennium Bridge.
Each show will last for 15 minutes.
An hour before each display, walkabout performers will entertain visitors on the Quayside.

Ben Whitfield, director of communications at NE1 Ltd, said: "We are delighted that Newcastle is ringing in the New Year with two spectacular free firework displays, the first official New Year’s firework celebrations since 2019 and the biggest free display in the North East.
"We can’t wait to welcome people to the iconic and historic Quayside to welcome the New Year in style."
The displays have been in the works for months, featuring over 10,000 individual fireworks, including 1,000 aerial shells.
Reaction Fireworks said: "The shows are designed to leave spectators in awe using rarely seen European pyrotechnic effects, including colour-changing mines and other amazing effects including whirls, glitter bursts, crackling spiders, worms, dragon eggs and Saturn."
Councillor Abdul Samad, cabinet member for culture, music and arts at Newcastle City Council, said: "Newcastle’s Christmas 2024 has been truly exceptional so far, and it gives me great pleasure to announce our plans for New Year’s Eve.
"We remain committed to providing excellent and accessible events in Newcastle, that can be enjoyed by everyone, and we know the return of firework displays will be welcome by many.
"We have, however, given careful consideration and worked closely with our climate change team to fully understand the environmental impact of fireworks, who have advised that carbon emissions from the fireworks alone are minimal.
"In Newcastle we are very lucky to have our magnificent Quayside as the backdrop for what promises to be two fabulous displays, offering something for families and revellers alike and the perfect way to welcome in 2025."
