A popular travel blogger with hundreds of thousands of followers said she was "blown away" by County Durham and recommended a museum as a "bucket list" experience.
Amy Hulley, known as "Amyenvoyage" on Instagram, visited the county for a three-day trip and said she was "totally blown away by Durham and can't believe I didn't visit sooner. There is so much to see and do."
She documented her activities to her 435,000 followers, which included making chocolate at La Chocolatrice, unwinding at Seaham Hall, exploring Durham City and Durham Cathedral, staying at Hotel Indigo Durham, and touring the Beamish Museum.
Encouraging her followers to engage with her post, Ms Hulley asked people to share their Beamish Museum experiences and to share the post with friends who would love the experience.
In a video on her Instagram feed she said: "I had no idea you could actually step back in time in the UK but this place completely changed that.
"One minute, you're walking through a 1900s town with authentic trams driving by, popping into the sweet shop for old-fashioned treats."
Ms Hulley said she even dressed in traditional clothing at the museum.

"It was so much fun and a great memory to keep. Then, we hopped over to the 1950s where I got my hair styled in a retro salon with three different styles to choose from, I opted for the bow.
"It was such a fun experience.
"Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, we went back to the 1820s and tucked into hearty dishes at the Georgian Tavern. This place isn't just about seeing history, it's about living it.
She had some advice about Beamish Museum for her followers which was "add to your bucket list."
