Two men have been arrested in connection with a "violent disturbance" in Darlington over the weekend.
The police received multiple reports from residents in Nightingale Avenue at 9.20pm on Saturday (July 15).
Officers arrested two men nearby on suspicion of affray.
One of the arrested men had a cut on his head and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
Both men, one in his late 40s and the other in his 20s have been released under investigation and inquiries are ongoing.

A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to Nightingale Avenue in Darlington at approximately 9:20pm on Saturday after reports of a violent disturbance.
"Police attended the scene and arrested two men nearby on suspicion of affray. One of the arrested men had suffered a cut to the head and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
"Both men, one in his late 40s and one in his late 20s, have since been released under investigation and inquiries are ongoing."
