Greggs has opened its new store in a North East retail park creating 15 jobs in the area.
The bakery chain opened its new location at Lustrum Retail Park in Stockton today (June 14).
The drive-thru will have many of the eatery’s favourites on offer such as its sausage rolls, steak bakes, and jam doughnuts.
The venue will also sport Greggs’ vegan alternatives, as well as a variety of drinks.
Shop manager, Emily Mcbeth said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop.
“We’ve got an amazing range of iconic savouries, Fairtrade hot drinks, hot food and healthier choices available for takeaway, sit-in or Click and Collect.”
Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: “Our new drive-thru in Stockton has brought 15 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.”
A Greggs spokesperson said: “Customers looking to grab a quick bite to eat on the go can order via the drive-thru without leaving the comfort of their own car, and those looking to skip the queue can order through Click and Collect via the Greggs App.
“The Greggs App is free to download and gives access to a variety of tasty rewards. For every 9 purchases in different categories – from hot drinks, to sandwiches, to bakes to sweet treats – app users can get one completely free.
“New users of the Greggs App also receive a free hot drink of their choice upon registration, as well as a free sweet treat to celebrate their birthday each year.
“The Stockton drive-thru opens with a modern and comfortable indoor seating.”
