The Northern Echo has launched a competition to find County Durham and Darlington area' 'Best Hairdresser or Barber 2024'.
Northern Echo readers can now nominate their favourites via our online voting platform.
Nominations open TODAY and will close on Sunday, June 16.
To nominate, simply follow this link, and submit the business or person you think should be in with the chance of being crowned County Durham's best.

Once nominations have closed and the finalists are revealed, readers will then be able to vote for the overall winner through a coupon in the paper. This will run for two weeks from Monday, June 24.
Readers will then be able to vote for their ‘Best Hairdresser or Barber' by picking up copies of The Northern Echo from June 18.
Speaking as the online nominations for The Northern Echo’s 'Best Hairdresser or Barber 2024 opened, Gavin Foster, Northern Echo editor said: “Nothing beats the feeling of walking out of a salon with a fresh cut, and County Durham and Darlington have some of the best.
With a love and passion for their job and experience that can't be replicated and often times friendships for life, the region's stylists really are a cut above."
We’ll be bringing you updates on the stylists nominated in our competition – so keep an eye out and see if your favourite is featured."
