The A19 northbound near Norton has been closed after a crash.
Emergency services are in attendance at the single vehicle collision and recovery is at the scene.
The A19 is closed from the A1027 and A689.
Currently, there is a mile of congestion so motorists are being advised to allow for extra journey time.

A National Highways North East spokesperson said: "The A19 northbound is closed between the A1027 in Norton and A689 at Wolviston due to a single vehicle collision.
"Emergency services and recovery on scene.
"There is a mile of congestion on approach to the closure so please allow extra journey time."
