It is set to be a rather overcast day in Darlington as the Met Office predicts occasional showers and highs of 14C.

The sunshine remains at bay once again this Wednesday (June 5) as it's set to stay cool with temperatures falling to a low of 9C this evening.

Today, temperatures will reach a high of 7C from 12pm, but is then set to drop to a low of 2C by 11pm this evening.

Wind gusts are expected to reach highs of 18mph and the sun due to set at 9:36pm.

Following a dry start to the week, the forecaster has also stated that “sunny spells and blustery showers” are set to begin from Friday to Sunday.
