This year's Masterchef winner was spotted at a country pub in Cumbria.
Veterinary surgeon Brin Pirathapan won the 20th series of MasterChef on Wednesday with dishes that included octopus and venison.
Brin was spotted at the King's Head in Ravestonedale, between Tebay and Kirkby Stephen on Thursday.
The King's Head took a photo of Brin and a spokesperson congratulated him on his 'momentous achievement.'
The 29-year-old man from Chelmsford, Essex, now lives in Bristol.
He impressed judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace with his fried capers, pickled chili, picked and charred shallots, orange and honey-glazed octopus with thinly-battered tempura mussels, herb baked wafers called tuiles dusted with an orange scallop roe, and an orange gel and sea plant samphire on a romesco tomato-based sauce for his starter.
He said after winning: "I’m absolutely chuffed to bits. I can’t breathe.
“I’m a big mix of my background, my culture and all the opportunities my parents have given me."
