EastEnders fans have been left convinced that a show favourite is taking part in the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

James Farrar, who plays Zack Hudson on the BBC show, has been rather busy lately after his character was exposed for cheating on Whitney Dean with her best friend, Lauren Branning.

After the truth was revealed on his wedding day, Zack was forced to fight for Whitney to take him back.

After a recent social media post, Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney, confirmed that she would be leaving the soap opera, and similar fears have been raised that James Farrar will do the same.

This comes after James announced that he would be working with a new talent agency called Architects of Influence.

Sharing a reel of his work, the agency said: "The husband and wife duo have hosted regular wellbeing retreats combining both of their talents; James as a certified Personal Trainer and Ali as a yoga teacher, mindfulness expert and freelance wellness journalist for the national press."

Responding to the post, the EastEnders star said: "2024 💃"

This simple post was enough to send BBC viewers into a frenzy, leaving many convinced he is taking part in the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

In recent years, there has typically been at least one cast member on the ballroom programme with the likes of Bobby Brazier, James Bye, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Kellie Bright being among previous line-ups.

Discussing the possibility of his exit, one fan wrote: "So so proud but james pls pls tell me you are not leaving eastenders, give me a SIGN, ANYTHING."

Another asked: "strictly? 🤔😅"

A third wrote: "It looks like James leaving EastEnders".

A fourth noted: "Hard working young man, who deserves this chapter."

His exit has not been confirmed by the BBC yet.
