Police have released images of a man who may be able to aid an investigation following an assault in a pub where a man was allegedly punched and hit with a glass earlier this year.
Two people suffered injuries in the alleged incident on May 21 at the Pig Iron pub on Corporation Road in Middlesbrough.
A 44-year-old man was said to have suffered a head injury requiring stitches when he was hit with a glass and a 33-year-old woman suffered extensive bruising when she was punched in the face.
Following the incident, a man fled the scene and made off past The Central Pub - who police are now looking to speak to to assist enquiries.
The man in the image is described as white male, average build, possibly aged in his 30’s, around 5ft 10” tall, with dark, short hair and a face mask under his chin (not facial hair), wearing a light blue tracksuit and carrying a black hold all/duffle bag.
Anyone with information relating to the identity of the man in the image is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 051736.
