A popular Darlington pub has just opened a brand new beer garden for people to enjoy in the summer weather.
The Mowden has invested in a large outdoor seating area with benches and two playgrounds.
Over the weekend the new beer garden was packed as locals enjoyed the sunny weather.
The pub is even planning a new menu to accompany the beer garden.
A spokesperson said: "Darlington are you ready! Check out your brand new beer garden, how awesome does this look?
"You asked, we listened, & we created this beauty, think our sister The Fox has some stiff competition.
"Not one, but two playgrounds for the little nippers, let them run wild whilst you watch the world go by.
