A popular second-hand bookshop in Darlington has revealed brand new bookshelves as they invest in their town centre shop.
The Darlington Lions Charity Bookshop can be found opposite House of Fraser on Blackwellgate.
It houses thousands of second-hand books, most of which can be bought for as little as £1.
They have decided to invest in brand new bookshelves for the front unit of the charity bookshop to better display the books.
All of their books are donated and money raised from sales is distributed around a number of different charities.
A spokesperson for the shop said: "We have invested in new display shelves in the front unit of our charity bookshop in Darlington town centre, so we have more room to display our rare and more valuable books and our new stock.
"All our books are kindly donated and funds raised from their sale are distributed to charities and good causes.
