Any lingering showers inland should fade into the evening, though isolated showers will continue near coasts for much of the night. An overnight frost likely away from coasts. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

Another day of scattered showers, light winds and sunny intervals. Showers may be wintry over the Pennines. Becoming dry overnight, with clear skies and a widespread frost. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
