A retail giant has confirmed they will be repairing potholes at their North East petrol station after residents hilariously pointed out.

Images emerged on Wednesday (April 10) showing a pothole filled with water near ASDA petrol station on Allensway in Thornaby, Stockton, having been highlighted by a resident who added rubber ducks to the mix.

The images were met with approval online as people commended them for the idea.
