A man has been pronounced dead after police were called to a property in County Durham yesterday (Wednesday, April 10) morning.
Durham Police were called to Millbank Close, in Seaham, shortly after 11am on Wednesday, after getting reports of concern for a man's welfare.
On their arrival, a man was certified dead.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 11.14am yesterday (April 10) to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man near Millbank Close, Seaham.

"Sadly, a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
