Darlington town centre was buzzing with activity yesterday for an exercise-based activity day promoting fitness and healthy habits - take a look at our pictures.
The event, organised by Darlington Borough Council, took place in the Market Square from 11am to 4pm and saw crowds of young families step out to take part in the day.
Activities included a climbing wall, hula hooping and American Football to name a few, and stalls promoting gyms, a healthy lifestyle and exercise were set up.
The day is also part of the council's HAF (Holiday Activities and Food Programme) funded by the Department for Education.
The Darlington Move More Team also organise other events for kids aged 5-16, with activities including:

- cricket
- rugby
- archery
- dance
- drama
- arts and crafts
- escape room
- smoothie making
- cooking
- water sports
