It is set to be a dry and cloudy in Darlington and across the North East today (April 4) following a wet start to the week that saw the town swamped with rain.
The rain appears to be at bay for another day this week as Met Office forecasters say we can expect a rather dry and cloudy day with temperatures reaching a high of 7C.
Winds are also expected to reach up to 10mph by the evening, where showers are then expected to hit at around 10pm.
Heading into Friday and the weekend, "heavy rain" is set to make a return with "blustery showers".
