There will be fairly strong gusts of up to 18mph in the morning with wind speeds picking back up in the late afternoon.

There will be highs of 10C and lows of 5C, with the sun due to set at 19:47pm.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Cloudy and wet, with spells of rain moving northward, these heavy at times.

"Showers will likely follow later in the afternoon. Hill fog and some coastal fog throughout. A breezy northeasterly. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

"Cloudy and wet conditions continuing through the evening and overnight, though rain gradually easing with time. Hill fog lingering throughout. Feeling rather cold."
