The weather is set to be wet today on Easter Monday, with the North East expected to be hit with rain and cloud.
After a bright and sunny Easter weekend, Darlington residents can expect scattered blustery showers and cloud breaks on Monday (April 1) according to the Met Office.
The forecaster also said these persistent showers would be heavy at times, with it feeling cold outside because of the wet conditions
Adding to this, the Met Office also said residents can expect a maximum temperature of 8 °C.
