Darlington residents are rallying to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance next week.
Julie Cox organises a charity fundraiser every year to support key organisations in the area.
This year she had noticed the difficulties that the Great North Air Ambulance (GNAA) has been having and thought the Middleton St George community could help.
The event will be taking place next Thursday, March 28, at the Dinsdale Court Community Centre.
It will be running from 2pm until 9pm that evening with a range of activities to enjoy.
Activities on the day:
- Raffle
- Easter bonnet competition
- Easter egg hunt
- Tombola
- Taylor's pies and peas for tea
Ms Cox said: "Basically, I do a charity event each year. Last year I did one for Cancer Research.
"We have chosen the GNAA this year because I think they are in the red.
"Hopefully we can raise a nice amount of money for them.
"The work they do is fabulous and they do an amazing job.
