A road in Newton Aycliffe has been closed while police deal with an ongoing incident at an Esso garage.
Video of the incident shows somebody in the garage throwing missiles at officers standing outside.
They appear to be causing a lot of damage inside the shop.
Police believe that the road will be closed for some time and urge people to stay away from the area.

A Newton Aycliffe police spokesperson said: "Police are currently dealing with an incident near the Esso Garage on St Cuthbert’s Way, in Newton Aycliffe.
"The road is likely to remain closed for some time and drivers are advised to find an alternative route."
