Police and the coastguard are looking for a missing Middlesbrough man after a car was found in the car park of a lighthouse in Scotland over two weeks ago.
Officers were made aware of concern for Ernestas Dagys around 12pm on Tuesday, February 27 following a report his car had been discovered in the Mull of Galloway Car Park.
Searches are being carried out in the area with specialist resources to try and find the 42-year-old, including assistance from the RNLI and HM Coastguard.
Ernestas is described as white, around 5’8” tall, of slim build with short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Inspector Stephen Judge, from Police Scotland, said: “I’m appealing for any information which may help us trace Ernestas.
“Following enquiries, we believe he travelled to the Mull of Galloway area on Sunday, 25 February.
