Officers searching for a wanted North East man who is "actively evading arrest"vare appealing to the public to help locate him.
James Saunderson, 22, is wanted for breach of a court order and extensive searches to locate him have been ongoing across the region.
Saunderson has strong links to the Ashington, Bedlington and Newbiggin-by-the-Sea areas of Northumberland – as well as the Arthur’s Hill area of Newcastle.
Officers from Northumbria Police are today (Wednesday) asking for the public’s help to trace him – and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
Members of the public are asked not to approach Saunderson, and are also reminded that harbouring a wanted person is an offence and those involved could face prosecution.

Saunderson, or anyone who believes they have seen him, is asked to contact police as soon as possible by using the ‘Report’ page of the Northumbria Police website or by calling 101, quoting reference number: NP-20240209-0020.
Alternatively, members of the public can report information anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
