A teenage moped rider has been injured and taken to hospital after falling from the vehicle after clipping the curb.
Emergency services attended a collision in the Laurel Road area of Ferryhill Station at around 7.20pm on Saturday (March 9).
The rider of a moped is believed to have struck a kerb, causing the vehicle to fall to the ground.
The 15-year-old male rider sustained minor injuries in the incident.

A teen passenger also sustained minor injuries but was taken to University Hospital of North Durham as a precaution.
A spokesperson for the Great North Air Ambulance said: "We were called to Chilton Lane in Ferryhill shortly before 7.15pm on 9 March following reports of a road traffic collision.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and requested support from our colleagues at Great North Air Ambulance Service.
"We transported one patient to University Hospital of North Durham by road."
