One person was taken to hospital after a crash that saw the air ambulance, police and paramedics called to the scene.
Emergency services were called to Chilton Lane in Ferryhill at about 7.15pm on Saturday (March 9), following reports of a crash on the stretch of road.
The full nature of the incident and how many people were involved hasn't yet been revealed - but the air ambulance has confirmed that one person was taken to hospital following the incident.

A spokesperson for the Great North Air Ambulance said: "We were called to Chilton Lane in Ferryhill shortly before 7.15pm on 9 March following reports of a road traffic collision.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and requested support from our colleagues at Great North Air Ambulance Service.
"We transported one patient to University Hospital of North Durham by road."
