Locals have been left confused after a County Durham bar and restaurant closed its doors last week with no explanation offered by bosses.
No formal announcement has yet been made confirming the closure of Port of Call on North Terrace, Seaham despite the venue appearing to be left empty.
The chain, which serves up everything from cocktails to pizza and burgers with live music is based on Park Lane in Sunderland city centre and opened its Seaham location in 2018.
However, six years on, the venue has mysteriously closed with no sign left on the door nor any explanation given on social media as to why it's shut for good.
Pictures of the bar show it has been left empty, and chairs can be seen stacked on top of each other with no sign of activity inside.
Workers from surrounding businesses claim it shut last week, but could not specify the specific date and did not know why the venue closed.
Port of Call Sunderland has been contacted for more information.
