Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to trace following an alleged theft from a shop in Stockton.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Officers received a report of a theft from Heron Foods on Rosslare Road, in Stockton, on Wednesday 21st February whereby a number of products were stolen.

"Investigating officers are appealing for the man shown in the image to come forward as he may be able to assist with enquiries.

"Anyone with information on the incident or anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image is urged to contact Cleveland Police on 101."
