This is the 999-call made by a County Durham mum when her three-year-old toddler, who she is accused of murdering, stopped breathing.
Christina Robinson, 30, is on trial at Newcastle Crown Court accused of murdering son Dwelaniyah at their home in Bracken Court, Ushaw Moor, County Durham on November 5, 2022. She denies murder and a second charge of child neglect.
Jurors previously heard the full 999 call she made when her son stopped breathing up to the moment paramedics arrived.
Part of that call has now been released by Durham Police and the Crown Prosecution Service.
In the recording, Robinson can be heard telling the call handler: “He’s only three.
“He’s not breathing. He was eating and then his eyes just went all weird and then…

“I’ve been doing CPR for about five minutes.”
Jurors heard a full version of the tape last week as Robinson went on to be guided through CPR.
The prosecution alleges Robinson inflicted a fatal head injury on the day of his death and had previously beaten him and caused him serious burns by immersing him in scalding water.
