Middlesborough-born James Arthur will be heading to Newcastle this week as part of his Bitter Sweet Love world tour.

The 36-year-old X Factor star rose to fame after winning the ninth series in 2012.

His debut single ‘Impossible’ was released after the final and debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

James Arthur has since gone on to release other hits such as ‘Rewrite the Stars’ for The Greatest Showman and ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’.

But now the North East music phenomenon will be performing at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on Saturday, March 9, following his recent return with new songs 'Blindside' and 'A Year Ago'.
