Police officers are appealing for the public's help to find a man who has been reported missing.
Richard Henry, 40, was last seen in the Rowlands Gill area on Saturday afternoon.
According to officers from Northumbria Police, he has not been heard from since then, and officers are increasingly concerned for his welfare.
The authorities have launched a widespread search to find Richard, who is commonly known as Rich among his family and friends.
The police are urging anyone who thinks they may have seen him to contact them immediately.
Richard is described as a "white male, standing at 6ft 4ins, with dark hair that is short on the sides and longer on the top.
"He was last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down each side and a bright blue micro-fleece top.
"Richard drives a grey/silver Skoda Superb estate with a distinctive number plate - F5RGH."

The authorities are also keen for anyone who may have seen the car since the time he was reported missing to come forward.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Officers are also keen for anyone who may have seen the car since the time he was reported missing to come forward.
"Anyone who has seen Richard, his car, or thinks they know where he may be, should call 101, quoting log number NP-20240302-1023."
