Brand new flights to Amsterdam have been added from Newcastle Airport, with tickets to the Netherlands available from September.

Easyjet has today announced it will relaunching flights from Newcastle International Airport to Amsterdam, providing customers in the North East with another airline and more choice to one of Europe’s most popular city destinations.

The airline's tour operator, easyJet holidays, has also launched package holidays on the new route.

It will take off from September 5, 2024 and operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays year-round providing the perfect connection for a long weekend in the Netherlands' capital. Flights are available to book now at easyJet.com with fares starting from £27.99.

The announcement comes after easyJet relaunched its Newcastle to Alicante route in April 2024 which is operating throughout summer providing customers with more connections for a Spanish beach break, alongside existing services to Majorca, Geneva, Bristol and Belfast.

The airline pulled out of the airport in 2020.

Ali Gayward, Easyjet's UK Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be offering this service from Newcastle to Amsterdam with new package holidays, adding more great value connectivity for customers in the North of England and providing even more choice whether they are booking their next city break or travelling for business. We look forward to welcoming more customers onboard.”
