An elderly cyclist has had his pelvis broken in a crash with a Range Rover - and police are now asking the public to get in touch to help with their enquiries. 

A bicycle collided white Range Rover Sport in Stockton, at the crossroad junction of Elton Grove and Killinghall Grove near Greenvale Grove. 

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "The elderly cyclist was taken to James Cook University Hospital with a fractured pelvis and injuries to his legs. His injuries are not deemed to be life-threatening.

"Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 035179."
