Three people have been arrested after police seized a weapon and heroin when they stopped and searched a car in Guisborough.
Cleveland Police have been focusing on the area in response to reports from the community about possible county lines drug dealing.
Officers stopped a Fiat Bravo on Redcar Road, Guisborough, and searched the car and its occupants.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Two men, aged 25 and 34 and a woman, 33, were arrested after a quantity of suspected heroin was found, along with a bladed weapon and several mobile phones.
"They were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
"All three were released on bail pending further enquiries."

Acting Neighbourhoods Sergeant John Eeles said: "We will continue to respond to information we receive from the community, particularly around the alleged supply of drugs and we will keep taking action against those suspected of causing harm to our area."
