A County Durham bubble tea venture has opened its doors at a popular County Durham shop and has plans to stay for the next six months.

Boba Empire (bubble tea) has made its arrival at Dalton Park - joining a host of other businesses at the venue.

Located opposite the newly opened designer store, Tommy Hilfiger, Boba Empire is serving up bubble tea from its quirky van for the next six months at the centre.

Originating from Taiwan, Boba Empire is set to capture the attention of local shoppers with its vast array of milk boba tea flavours such as vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coconut, dirty milk tea, matcha, and fruit teas.

The menu offers a bubble tea journey, guiding customers through the process of selecting their preferred tea, topping and customising the drinks to everyone's tastebuds.

When tea fans are refreshed, they can treat themselves to an array of desserts such as waffles and cookie pies to round off their shopping experience in style.

The Bubble Tea trend continues to show no signs of slowing down across the world and is one Dalton Park is excited to embrace, as the bubble tea shop comes to the venue.

Richard Kaye, centre manager of Dalton Park, said: “We are delighted to welcome Boba Empire to Dalton Park! Embracing diverse cultures and broadening our culinary horizons with flavours from around the globe is something we strive to do at Dalton Park.
