Six speeders have been fined in court this week after appearing at Teesside Magistrates' Court. 

The drivers, who are from Teesside, were caught speeding on various roads of the region, including the A66 in Middlesbrough.

We have pieced together the speeders who have been fined in court:

Imran Ramzan, 33, of Poplar Grove, Middlesbrough, was ordered to pay a total of £575 for driving over 50mph on the A66 in Middlesbrough. the violation committed in his Skoda on June 10, 2023.

The offence took place on the A66 Teesside Park on June 10, 2023, when Ramzan was driving a Skoda.

The charge was heard at Teesside Magistrates' Court on February 8, 2024, where Ramzan was fined £350, and ordered to pay a £140 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.

The court also ordered that his driving record be endorsed with six penalty points.

A Middlesbrough resident has been fined for driving above the speed limit on Riverside Park Road.

Dominic Joseph, 30, from Falmouth Street, Middlesbrough, has been fined after he was caught driving his Audi over a 30mph limit on Riverside Park Road in Middlesbrough on June 16, 2023.

The incident was brought before Teesside Magistrates' Court, where Joseph was handed a £30 fine.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £12 and £85 in court-related costs.

Joseph's driving record was endorsed with three points.

Fredrick Nicholson, 67, was ordered to pay an £80 fine, a £32 surcharge and £85 in costs after being found guilty of travelling over 30mph on Durham Lane, Eaglescliffe, which occurred on June 10, 2023.

Nicholson appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court, where the court also endorsed Nicholson's driving record with four points.

A Stockton-on-Tees man has been fined for driving above the local speed limit.

Aurel Padure, 56, has been fined £80 and six penalty points on his driving licence after speeding on the A66 Teesside Park.

The incident happened on June 10, 2023, with Padure in his BMW.

Alongside the fine, Padure was ordered to pay an additional £32 surcharge and £85 in court costs.

62-year-old Mark Richmond-Lowrey, of Marton Burn Road, Middlesbrough, has been fined £660 for road traffic offences, including speeding in his Vauxhall.

The first offence saw Richmond-Lowrey, drive his vehicle at a speed exceeding the 50mph limit on the A66 (W) Teesside Park.

Richmond-Lowrey was also found guilty of failing to provide information relating to the identification of the driver when requested by the police.

This second offence, also committed in Stockton-on-Tees, earned him an additional hefty fine.

On top of the £660 fine, he was ordered to pay a surcharge of £264 and additional costs of £85, bringing the total sum owed to £1,009. 

Richmond-Lowrey's driving record has also been endorsed with six penalty points.

Jackson Wardell, 27, of Stockton-on-Tees, has been fined £656 for speeding over the 50 mph limit on the A66 Teesside Park on June 10, 2023.

In addition to the substantial fine, Wardell was ordered by the court to pay a £261 surcharge, and costs amounting to £85.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.
