Three people have been arrested after police discovered a cannabis farm inside a Middlesbrough property this week.

Officers discovered the farm in a home on Borough Road on Thursday (February 8) and arrested three males.

They are aged 20, 27 and 30 and have since been bailed.

A full statement from Cleveland Police said: "Three males were arrested following the discovery of a cannabis farm in Middlesbrough.

"Neighbourhood officers from Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Team located the farm at a property on Borough Road on Thursday 8th February.

"Three males aged 20, 27 and 30 have been arrested and later bailed in connection with the ongoing investigation.
