One person has been taken to hospital after they became trapped under a slab of concrete at the weekend.
Emergency services convened at a private address in High Clarence, Middlesbrough on Sunday (January 28) following reports of the trapped person.
Four ambulance crews attended the scene at the property as well as the fire brigade and it has now been confirmed that the person was taken to James Cook University Hospital.
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at a private address in High Clarence, Middlesbrough yesterday (January 28) at 12.54pm.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew, one clinical team leader and two HART crews (Hazardous Area Response Teams) to the scene, one patient was taken to James Cook Hospital."
A statement from Cleveland Fire Brigade said there was a "person trapped under a slab of concrete" who was, "extricated by fire brigade" and placed in the care of the air ambulance.
