Several postcodes in the North East have won thousands of pounds in the postcode lottery throughout this week.

Five streets across the region scooped prizes after their postcodes came out in the draw.

Areas of the North East including Teesside, Tyneside and North Yorkshire have all been selected for the £1,000 jackpot, and some have won significantly more.

The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which aims to raise money for charities while also bringing cash prizes to homes across the UK.
