A popular North Yorkshire pub which closed its doors last year is now set to welcome back patrons as it prepares to reopen.

The Highcliff pub, located on Enfield Chase in Guisborough, announced it would be closing its doors last July due to its owner’s ill health.

The pub thanked all of its patrons for their support and said it hoped to see its customers again soon.

The establishment announced on Saturday (January 20) that it is now getting ready to reopen its doors under new ownership.

“We are so thrilled to announce we are getting ready to reopen under new ownership.

“We will be serving a wide range of home cooked meals, light bites, and beverages for the whole family to enjoy.

“With spacious indoor seating and an outdoor beer garden with enclosed children's play area great for making the most of the sunshine.
