There is a winning lottery ticket yet to be claimed which was bought in the Northumberland area – could you be the winner?

The owner of the ticket has won a staggering amount of money as the prize is £1 million (what a way to get rid of the January blues).

One lucky winner bought the ticket in the North East county, with the winning numbers being drawn in the EuroMillions on November 3, 2023.

The exact draw number is 1682 and the winner has until May 1, 2024 to claim.

The National Lottery website explains: “The big prizes below have either not been claimed, or have not yet been validated and paid.

“We hope a lucky player comes forward in time but if a valid claim is not received within 180 days (around 6 months) of the draw date, the prize and any interest earned on it will go to benefit National Lottery Projects across the UK.”

"If you think you're a winner, find out how to claim. The table below was updated on 11/01/2024. Any unclaimed prizes 6 months past the draw date will be automatically removed."

Have you won £1 million on the EuroMillions?

The winning ball numbers are 08, 21, 31, 39, 47. The lucky stars are 05 and 09.

How to claim your lottery prize

Depending on whether you bought your ticket online or in a shop, there are different ways you can claim your prize – see the full guide on the National Lottery website.

For example, if you bought it online, the National Lottery says for prizes over £50,000: “Don’t hang about. Prizes over £50,000 must be claimed in person during the claim period.

“First, call us so we can register your win and we'll arrange a date and time for you to claim your prize.”

There are currently nine other lottery prizes yet to be claimed across the UK, including in Bolton, Doncaster and the East Lindsey District.
