Are you on the naughty or nice list? If you want to see Santa on his big dazzling bus in Stockton-on-Tees this year, you're in luck.

Santa is coming to town as he will be making his way through the borough, swapping his sleigh for a vehicle on wheels, decorated in twinkling lights.

Santa on Wheels returns for its latest tour this winter, spreading plenty of festive cheer with party music to get everyone in the mood for Christmas.

When is Santa on Wheels coming to Stockton-on-Tees?

Santa’s festive open-top bus will hit the streets of Stockton-on-Tees from Thursday, December 14 to Sunday, December 17.

Thursday, December 14

This route includes Wynyard, Wolviston, Thorpe Thewles, Stillington, Whitton Village, Redmarshall, Carlton, Elton, Long Newton, Yarm and Kirklevington.

Friday, December 15

This route includes Billingham, Port Clarence, Cowpen Bewley, Norton, Roseworth and Hardwick.

Saturday, December 16

This route includes Thornaby, Hilton, Maltby and Ingleby Barwick.

Sunday, December 17

This route includes Stockton Town Centre, Parkfield and Oxbridge, Grangefield, Newtown, Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree, Fairfield, Hartburn, Eaglescliffe and Egglescliffe.

Councillor Steve Nelson, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Leisure and Culture, said: “Santa on Wheels has been a hugely popular addition to our events programme for the last couple of years, and we hope everyone is as excited as we are to see it return this Christmas.

“Santa will be on a strict schedule to reach as many streets as possible on his four-night tour, so unfortunately he won’t be able to stop.

“Santa and his trusty elves will be waving to everyone as they pass. Why don’t you come out and give them a cheer?

“Make sure you check the routes and location tracker each night before they set off so that you don’t miss the big man and his helpers.”
