Police have released images of two men they would like to trace after another man was put in a headlock before a watch worth £35,000 was stolen from from his arm.
The victim was in the Market Shaker in Newcastle's Cloth Market when he was approached by two unknown men on Sunday, October 15.
He was taken to hospital for treatment of facial injuries and a cut to the head following the attack.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Officers have released images of two men they would like to trace as part of an ongoing investigation into a robbery.
"Police received a report that at 1.45am on Sunday, October 15, a male was in Market Shaker in Newcastle’s Cloth Market when two unknown offenders approached him.
"They put him in a headlock before stealing his £35,000 watch from his arm.
"The victim suffered a cut to the back of the head and other facial injuries in the incident.
"He went to hospital for treatment and was later discharged."

The spokesperson added: "Officers are investigating the report and today (Thursday) they have released images of two men they would like to speak to.
"Both men were in the area at the time the robbery is reported to have taken place and officers believe they may be able to assist with their enquiries."
The men, or anyone who knows them, should use the report option on the Northumbria Police website or call 101, quoting crime reference number 129326W/23.
