Every time I'm a Celebrity returns to our screens a camp friendship seems to blossom from the unlikiest source.

Joe Swash and George Takei, Scarlet Moffat and Larry Lamb. This year? Scouse boxer Tony Bellew and Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson.

After being compared to Donkey and Shrek earlier in the week, viewers of the hit ITV can't seem to get enough of the duo this year.

Yesterday Sam removed a mosquito from Tony's face by slapping him - a standout moment of this year's show - and the look on both of their faces was a picture.

Tonight, viewers were once again in hysterics at the pair.

"Obsessed with the Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew dynamic icl", one viewer shared to X, formerly known as Twitter.

Another posted: "Nah not Sam farting on Tony I can’t BREATHE #ImACeleb".

"Sam farting next to Tony (crying laughing face) #ImACeleb", another viewer pointed out.

I'm a Celebrity 2023

I'm a Celebrity kicked off on Sunday, November 19 and saw a host of well-known names enter the jungle including Jamie Lynne Spears, Grace Dent, Fred Sirieix, Nigel Farage, Josie Gibson and more.

So far there has been a lot of tension in camp and both times Fred Sirieix has been involved.

The first time was an argument with former UKIP leader Nigel Farage over Brexit.

The second was with YouTuber Nella Rose, in which she called Fred a "weirdo".

Yesterday, Jamie Lynn Spears dramatically quit I'm A Celebrity after just a few days in the jungle.

The younger sister of Britney Spears was one of the original campmates when the ITV show returned for a 23rd series on Sunday night, with the Zoey 101 star struggling with the challenge within days of arriving in camp.

Jamie Lynn, 32, broke down in tears several times as she confided to her co-stars that she missed home.

A spokesperson for I'm A Celeb told the Mirror: "Jamie Lynn Spears has left I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She's been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities."

I'm a Celebrity continues on ITV1 and ITV daily from 9pm.
