A woman was left with burns to her face after an 'unknown substance' was thrown at her during a group attack outside a North East nightclub.
Cleveland Police is appealing for information and witnesses following the assault in Redcar, which left the woman with facial injuries.
Officers from the police force received a report that a group of females assaulted another female at around 1am on Sunday, November 12 at Aruba nightclub on Redcar High Street.

During the assault, an unknown substance was thrown at the victim's face causing multiple burns and she was taken to hospital for treatment.
Enquiries are ongoing into the incident, according to Cleveland Police.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with relevant footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 23224726.
