Five of the best spas in the North East and North Yorkshire have been revealed after The Good Spa Guide unveiled its list of 'must visit' venues this winter.
The Good Spa Guide, which advises on the best of the best when it comes to relaxation in the UK, announced its best five spa locations across each region during a ceremony in London.
As part of the list, spa venues in Durham, Seaham, Harrogate, Darlington and Masham were unveiled as some of the best in the North East and North Yorkshire.
The awards are judged through a rigorous process, which includes visits to each spa and reviews of each service the spa offers.
The venues that were shortlisted for the awards included:
- Manor House Hotel and Spa
- Nàdarra Spa at The Coniston Hotel Country Estate
- Rockliffe Hall
- Rudding Park Spa
- Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall
- Spa at Ramside
- Swinton Country Club & Spa
The top three spas were:
- Rudding Park Spa
- Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall
- Swinton Country Club & Spa
