A new Mexican restaurant will open before the end of 2023 at a County Durham shopping park after the venue revealed the first details of the venture. 

Dalton Park, near Seaham, has revealed that it will be stepping up its food offering after saying that burrito bar Zapatista will be cooking up a storm for its customers before the end of the year

Mexican-inspired and Vegan-friendly burrito bar, Zapatista has been a firm favourite in the North East since it hit the scene in 2012, with its Mexican flavours and selection of craft beers and cocktails.

Visitors to Dalton Park can expect burritos, fajitas and sweet potato chilli, all hand-crafted daily.

Zapatista will be a hotspot for on-the-go shoppers or, they can dine in to take a well-earned rest after shopping at Dalton Park. 

Richard Kaye, centre manager at Dalton Park, said: “We’re excited to welcome Zapatista to Dalton Park this year, bringing tasty international cuisine, that shoppers will thoroughly enjoy.
